If you read my previous post about the ultra fabulous Baby Jogger City Mini Double, then you know that although I was more than happy to spend the 400$ on the stroller, I was not so happy to spring for the 60$ rain cover. As promised I have searched high and low for a less expensive alternative and although not perfect, I have found something that I think you will find works just as well and save you a boat load of moola!

Why I Like It?

Coming in at just 15$, the price alone speaks for itself! It provides great full coverage and still allows for plenty of room for my older baby to squirm around. I tested it out in the rain and there was no fogging on the inside, no weird smells, and most importantly it was sturdy.

What Could be Better?

True to its name this rain cover is built for a true jogging stroller. Unfortunately the Baby Jogger’s design is a bit different so the rain cover does not fit exactly to the stroller. However I did find that with some adjusting the rain cover still fits well and allows for great access to the kiddies. I have included some pics below so you can get an idea of how it will fit. Also there are no directions in the package. Although not rocket science, it did take me a while to figure out how it fits on. Therefore, try this out at home before trying to use it in the actual rain for the first time or you, like me, will wind up soaking wet and very very angry. So angry that not even a nice glass of wine will help (ok it would have helped a little).
